Modern specs usually use an aged rhum.
½ oz
Orange curaçao
¼ oz
Orgeat
¼ oz
Simple syrup
1 oz
Lime juice, freshly squeezed

Method

Shake

Shake everything except the garnish with crushed ice.
Pour unstrained into a double rocks glass and top up with crushed ice.
Garnish with the spent lime shell and a mint sprig.

Glass: Double rocks glass
Ice: Crushed ice
Garnish: 1 sprig Mint, 1 piece Lime, spent half shell
